Wound Care Community Hub
Incite Performance Management Inc.
Incite Performance Management Inc. is a development stage venture based in Toronto, Ontario offering sustainable solutions to healthcare individuals and institutions. Incite and GBC are working together to develop a prototype of the PEP Community – a social media knowledge/collaboration community HUB platform, specifically targeted towards nurses and wound care. The aim of this initiative is to set a foundation and a benchmark on how evidence base practice (EBP’s) and the associated documentation centered on diabetic foot care is developed, shared, disseminated, accessed, discussed, sustained, measured and reported among the healthcare community. The GBC research team includes Principal Investigator Tyler Krimmel, M.A., Program Coordinator and Professor, Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies, Co-Investigator Dr. Iris Epstein RN, PhD, Professor, School of Nursing, Faculty of Community Services and Health Sciences, and students from the Information Systems Business Analyst Postgraduate, and the Family Practice Nursing Postgraduate Programs. The GBC research team will work closely with the Incite Performance Management Inc. principals to elicit business and system requirements in order to create a prototype of the PEP Community application.
