Taking SickKids Mobile
The Taking SickKids Mobile project is a pilot initiative of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) with industrial support from Sapient Nitro, Blackberry, iMason, and Normative and academic support from OCAD University, Ryerson University, and George Brown College.
NetZED at AQUALINA Project | Phase 2
The objective of this project is to create a 3D model of, and perform artificial and natural daylight performance analysis on, the Net Zero Energy Dwelling (NetZED) suite at the Aqualina condominium, as well as create visualizations of the suite to showcase each system and how they work.
Site Plan, Elevations and Retrofit Design
This project is to create a site plan for Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club’s (ABYC) structures, a 3D Revit model of the clubhouse, and a design plan for retrofitting the clubhouse for wheelchair access. ABYC, located in Toronto, Ontario, was founded in 1932, and has been known as a premier sailing club that facilitates both novice and experienced sailors.
The Future Development of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
The project Seeks to understand the future role of the project and cost management sections of the construction profession as BIM uptake increases George Brown College faculty will be researching how the building and construction industry around the has adapted to the use of BIM and how it may have to adapt further in the future.
