Interactive Feature Development for Giant Step Inc.’s ComicReply Platform

Giant Step is a digital marketing agency that specializes in the creation of custom web-based brand experiences for client campaigns, promotions and events. This objective of this project was to develop ComicReply, a contest-creation application that allows companies to create their own branded fan contests. The contests themselves use clients’ brand assets / artwork and allow their audiences to submit creations using interactive editing tools. Giant Step approached George Brown to involve students in the development of new content editing tools for ComicReply. Design students created new drawing, text, shape and editing tools (brush size, color / font selection, caption bubbles, shapes, etc.) and implemented UI improvements.
