Steeped Tea: Feasibility Study & Prototype Development
Steeped Fine Loose Teas & Accessories Inc.
George Brown College’s Food Innovation & Research Studio (FIRSt) is collaborating with Steeped Fine Loose Teas & Accessories Inc., operating as Steeped Tea (Sipology in 2018), to complete a category overview and regulatory review, and develop a line of teas that have the potential to have Natural Health Product (NHP) claims associated with them. Steeped Tea requires assistance from FIRSt to develop 10 new loose-leaf tea varieties that offer their own unique health offering, which potentially includes a Detox Tea, Anti-Inflammation Tea, Energy Tea, Digestion Tea, Immunity Tea, Anti-Stress Tea, Green Tea Extract Tea, Sleepy Tea, and an Appetite Suppressant Tea.
